POCATELLO — A man was transported to Portneuf Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries Thursday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in a wheelchair.

Police say a man was crossing Benton St. in an electric wheelchair when he was struck by a passenger car turning right onto Benton St. from 5th Ave. The impact knocked the man in the wheelchair out of the seat and onto the street.

The accident is under investigation
